"Justice" Minister Helen McEntee and Garda Commissioner Jeremy Andrew Harris OBE bear full responsibility for the demoralised Garda members that have left An Garda Síochana. From 2021 to 2023, 1,325 members resigned.

They have been deliberately and increasingly demoralised by higher powers, who then completely ignored them when 99% of them voiced a "no confidence" vote against the Garda Commissioner, and who appear intent on focussing recruitment within the Northern Irish PSNI and "asylum" centres, instead of addressing the problem they have created.
