"Justice" Minister Helen McEntee and Garda Commissioner Jeremy Andrew Harris OBE bear full responsibility for the demoralised Garda members that have left An Garda Síochana. From 2021 to 2023, 1,325 members resigned.
They have been deliberately and increasingly demoralised by higher powers, who then completely ignored them when 99% of them voiced a "no confidence" vote against the Garda Commissioner, and who appear intent on focussing recruitment within the Northern Irish PSNI and "asylum" centres, instead of addressing the problem they have created.

Helen Mc Entee will not sway anyone in her favour to support her bid to opt in to the EU Migration Pact by pretending to be responsible at this stage.
Her priority should be the abandonment of reckless policies which are a danger to the safety and welfare of the Irish people and contrary to our Laws, the commencement of flights forthwith, and full transparency with regard to the information and advice that she is hiding from the public in relation to the consequences and impact of opting in.
