O Allah, let us be with him (Imam Mahdi) when he makes peace and frees mankind from fear, gives currency to love and kindness, brings bliss and happiness, spreads goodness and virtue.
Imam Ali (ع) loved Lady Fatima (ع) so much that he actually fainted when she died. This was beyond emotional love!! It was profound spiritual affinity, she was his spiritual equivalent and his intellectual equal. After her, his grief never subsided and his heart forever bled.
“It was not through myself that I made it to the Origin of the Light. I was a speck, and it was only your love that made me ascend. I am a straw of nothingness that was getting caught in the flood; that brought me to the heart of the sea.”
The Almighty works according to His timing, not yours or mine. Don’t rush Him. Sometimes the wait might be long. But nothing goes unanswered. Trust Him. Bear beautiful patience while you wait. Great things take time.🤍
Those who are celebrating the victories of colonial resistance today should understand that if their stances against the resistance had come to light in the past, there would be nothing to resist Israel now.
Resistance doesn't start in wars or moments. It is a mindset that aids one to make decisions over the span of years.
Had Sayyid Hassan been with us today, he would have continued offer his unique guidance and comfort. Yet while a divine leader lives, a latent potential remains locked within him. When his blood is shed, that potential is released, and he multiples— no longer confined to one body, but following through all. Perhaps that is what we need more today than his physical presence. His martyrdom marked the beginning of the next phase of his service to his people. Today, we are all Sayyid Hassan in our own way.
