В 1970-х гг. голландский дизайнер Гийс Булаарс спроектировал для финской компании «Lundia» стул «Lundi-sit», напоминающий легендарный растущий стул «Tripp Trapp», который был выпущен норвежской компанией «Stokke» в 1972 г. В отличие от норвежской разработки модель Булаарса была предназначена для людей любого возраста и роста, позволяла регулировать высоту сидения в два счета и занимала совсем немного места при хранении в разобранном виде. Интересно, что стул Булаарса фактически состоит из двух взаимопроникающих базовых фигур: треугольника и круга. Как тут не вспомнить советских конструктивистов и супрематистов, в особенности Эля Лисицкого, хорошо известного в Голландии! Лисицкий был членом движения «Де Стейл», какое-то время жил и работал в Голландии, сотрудничая, в частности, с Тео ван Дусбургом и Мартом Стамом, а в Эйндховене хранится огромная коллекция его работ (в т.ч. оттиск знаменитого плаката «Клином красным бей белых»). ——— In the 1970s, Dutch designer Gijs Boelaars created Lundi-sit, an adjustable plywood chair made, which was made available from Finnish furniture-maker Lundia and resembled Stokke’s iconic Tripp Trapp chair released in 1972. Unlike the latter, Boelaars’ chair was intended for people of all age groups and heights, was much quicker to adjust, and could easily be disassembled and stored flat. Interestingly, Boelaars used two basic geometric figures, the triangle and the circle, connected in an interlocking fashion reminiscent of works by Soviet constructivists and suprematists such as El Lissitzky, who is well known in the Netherlands. Lissitzky was a member of De Stijl, used to live and work in the Netherlands for some time, collaborated with prominent Dutch artists such as Theo van Doesburg and Mart Stam. Also, Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven owes an impressive collection of Lissitzky’s works, including his famous poster, “Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge”.
