Our team has been closely following the development of
Linktree, a platform that enables creators, brands, artists, publishers, agencies, and businesses of all sizes to create a universal profile where they can share, sell, and grow.
Among the top 300 most popular website destinations globally, Linktrees see over 1.2 billion unique visitors a month. In 2021 alone, they enabled over one million artists to generate 90 million streams across platforms – twice as many artists and three times as many streams than in the year prior.
Recently, they released a
report for the year 2023, highlighting the progress compared to 2022.
Insights that we have highlighted for ourselves:
— Universal profiles are viewed 3 times per month per user.
— Creators receive traffic to their profiles from an average of 12 platforms, with Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter) remaining the leaders.
— The first three links in a profile have, on average, a 130% higher click-through rate (CTR).
— The average monthly income paid to authors by their audience has increased by more than 25%.
— The number of links to Shopify, where authors can showcase what they sell directly on their Linktree, has increased by 58%.
— The number of accounts with Amazon links has increased by 30%.
In the US, one-third (and more than half of Gen Zs and millennials) say content creators influence their buying decisions.
