It is with much excitement we share news that our Norwegian subsidiary, #VARD, has signed a contract for the design and build of a state-of-the-art hybrid power Service Operation Vessel (#SOV) for the company #CyanRenewables.

Scheduled for delivery in 2026, the vessel, offering class-leading station keeping performance as well as highly fuel-efficient solutions, will make headway toward zero-emission operations.

We are eager to support the inevitable success of VARD as they take one more step toward bringing a greener shipbuilding future on board.

Our SVP of Innovation, Paolo #Cerioli, participated in the FVG Connect forum on innovation, organized by #OpenFiber, #BAT, #Saipem, Fincantieri, in collaboration with the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, where he emphasized the importance of innovation for our Group. This ranged from robotic welding to the optimization of shipyard processes through data analysis and artificial intelligence. It is a virtuous path towards the future of work and production that should be undertaken in synergy with local and international realities.
