💥It seems like everyone is talking about techno parties these days. Many even equate it to dance music. The era of psy-trance was left behind somewhere in the 2010s, and the new generation of music producers who "get the style" are heavily influenced by British basslines, starting with Dorn and ending with Bushido Zho. But has anyone ever wondered that the era of British garage's boom in its homeland ended in the 90s and what's new in Britain itself?

🫡 To answer that question, we have to shift the focus of this story to South Africa, specifically to Durban, where Gqom was born.

🕺The genre that flips the bird to all the canons of dance music in the European sense but absorbs so much of this hot continent. There's no kickdrum, no drops, no mixing, and no commercial mastering, but how much groove is there!

I found out about Gqom in 2018 when I watched Red Bull Music reports, they are hard to find now but I dug them up and I highly recommend you watch them!

More about new app economy 🤑

💻 Today, Ton Music Team is 11 people who, every evening, close themselves in their rooms and, having connected to Discord, are involved in developing the app.

💪 It's worth noting that, for now, all team members are working on the project, combining it with their main jobs. This is why not everything is getting done as quickly as we would like.

🫰 However, over time, we plan to attract external funding, which will allow us to work on the project 200% every day!
