The Smart Accounts Platform completely changes how we look at 'accounts' or 'wallets'. They are now complete UX platforms where devs can customise the perfect user journeys for their use case. This is achieved by easily plugging in programmable modules.

With this Smart Account Platform, we are releasing

1. Smart Account implementation with modular architecture

Essentially the Smart Account platform empowers devs to deploy highly customised Smart Accounts for their users. The customisation is possible thanks to modularity.

The modular architecture is the pièce de résistance of the platform. By being modular, devs easily & securely extend specific Smart Account functionality by enabling certain modules. This allows them to endlessly add certain UX capabilities, easily tweak it for their requirement, & enable a customised experience for any user and any use case.

2. Tons of modules (& a framework to add more in the future)

We currently have powerful modules that can easily be plugged in. These include passkeys for biometric login, session keys for reducing annoying pop-ups & multi-chain validation module for improving cross-chain UX.

Finally, our improved AA SDK offers a simple & secure way to leverage the Smart Accounts Platform, deploy powerful Smart Accounts, plug & play a ton of modules & enable a seamless experience.

We’re building more modules for Biconomy Smart Account like Social Recovery, Spending Limits, & Access Control.

Wanna join us in building & ideating modules? Come say hi on the 'modular-smart-account' discord channel!

With this modular approach, we achieve one of the key goal of account abstraction:

👉Allow users to use smart contract wallets with arbitrary verification logic instead of EOAs as their primary account
👉Completely remove any need at all for users to also have EOAs

For now, this version will be shipped with 3 basic sets of authorisation modules:

📧ECDSA - authorised by 'web2' tech email, social creds, or EOA
🗝️Session keys - authorised within a certain expiry time & permissions
📱Passkey - authorised by FaceId & Fingerprint

Custom validation algorithms are one of the key features of Account Abstraction.
