=== TOURNAMENT FAQ === The Tournament rules can be found here! How often are tournaments held? Twice a year, once in summer and once in winter. How to register for the tournament? Simply join the tournament group! It says "This link has expired!" What's wrong? The tournament group is only open for a few days after the round phase started. Afterwards, it is closed so no new participants can enter the tournament. How to qualify for the semifinals? Play 15 games, and be among the 16 people with the most wins. The bot will not let you join after you completed 15 games. You must play 15 games to qualify for the semifinals! How long does the Round Phase last for? How long does the event go? The round phase lasts for as long as games are actively being played. It will go at least a week, but usually longer, about 2 weeks. An exact deadline is not determined in advance. After the round phase is over, the remaining 16 players need to find time slots for the semifinals and the final game by themselves. What happens if there are ties at the end of the round phase? The event organizers will decide a way (such as play-off games) to break the tie when this occurs. This is done until there are exactly 16 semifinalists. What are the prizes? The winner receives the 🏆 and the other finalists the 🥈 custom badge, which cannot be obtained otherwise. The winner also gets to pick a custom message that the bot will send whenever they win a game (limited time). Why are there no monetary prizes? The bot has been coded for free and doesn't give any profit. There's no ads, there are no sponsors, so there's no money.
