In the Hermitage, there is a large and colorful 'Tomb of Homer'. It's impossible to say where it came from, most likely from some island. It's first owner, Count Stroganoff, wrote that when he saw this artifact he immediately thought of Homer being buried in it. As a consequence, there were rumors and legends, people dreamed of seeing the place of burial of the great man. Only a few centuries later scientists were able to examine the tomb and made sure that Homer could not be buried there. Now question comes, who was burried here?
